Terms & Conditions

Registration is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Joining a waitlist does not guarantee a place at an event. If a place becomes available, registration is only confirmed after any required payment has been completed.

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.

Sobremesa Club may refuse or cancel a registration where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, quality, or integrity of the community.

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to registrations for events with a specific date or period of performance, pursuant to Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek).

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. By making a purchase, participants also agree to the applicable terms of the relevant payment provider.

Sobremesa Club reserves the right to correct obvious pricing, publication, or administrative errors. Where such an error affects an existing registration, participants will be offered the choice of proceeding with the corrected information or receiving a full refund.

Unless stated otherwise on the event page:

• Full refunds are available up to 5 days before the event.
• Cancellations made less than 5 days before the event are non-refundable.

Tickets may be transferred to another person with prior approval from Sobremesa Club.

If Sobremesa Club cancels an event, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that event.

A written warning may be issued.

The participant may be suspended from registering for Sobremesa Club events for one (1) month.

Repeated no-shows may result in longer suspensions or refusal of future registrations.

Sobremesa Club reserves the right to assess circumstances individually and make reasonable exceptions.

Sobremesa Club may change the date, time, venue, host, or format of an event where reasonably necessary.

Participants will be informed of significant changes as soon as reasonably possible.

Sobremesa Club is not responsible for personal expenses such as travel or accommodation costs.

Events may be cancelled or postponed if minimum attendance requirements are not met.

Participants are expected to:

• Treat others with respect.
• Follow venue rules and applicable laws.
• Respect personal boundaries and differences.
• Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

The following behaviour is not permitted:

• Harassment
• Discrimination
• Bullying
• Intimidation
• Threatening behaviour
• Unwanted physical contact
• Excessive disruption
• Any conduct that negatively impacts the experience of others

Participants engaging in inappropriate behaviour may be removed from an event without refund and may be excluded from future events.

Participants are responsible for informing Sobremesa Club of any allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements before the event.

While Sobremesa Club will make reasonable efforts to communicate dietary requirements to venues and partners, participants remain responsible for determining whether food and drinks offered are suitable for their dietary needs.

Sobremesa Club acts as an organizer and facilitator and does not operate restaurants, food preparation facilities, or event venues.

To the extent permitted by law, Sobremesa Club's liability is limited to direct damages resulting from intentional misconduct or gross negligence by Sobremesa Club.

Sobremesa Club is not liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
• Travel, accommodation, or other personal expenses.
• Indirect or consequential damages.
• Acts or omissions of restaurants, venues, suppliers, hosts, or other third parties.
• Circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

Sobremesa Club facilitates shared experiences between participants but does not guarantee any particular social, personal, professional, romantic, or business outcome. Participants remain responsible for their own interactions and decisions.

Photos and videos may be taken during events for community, marketing, and promotional purposes.

Participants who do not wish to appear in photos or videos should inform the event host before the event begins. We will make reasonable efforts to respect this preference.

Participants may request that identifiable photographs featuring them be removed from future marketing materials where reasonably possible.
